Best damn pancakes in the tulsa area!
When my work schedule allows , I often drive miles out of my way to eat breakfast here. Good food and fun people who work there.
I FOUND IT! Whenever I walk into a local restaurant, I have high hopes. I want to discover greatness. Unfortunately, I have endured a lot of poor to mediocre meals. This place delivered all the way around. From the true hole-in-the-wall diner vibe to the most delicious breakfast I've had in a very long time. The guy in the kitchen knows how to cook! My Western omelet was omelet perfection, the hash browns were crispy goodness, even the toast tasted better here. Hubby loved his light, flaky biscuit and gravy, and raved about how perfect his scrambled eggs were. If you're in the area, I highly recommend. We've been there three times in one week.
This place is my absolutely favorite place to get breakfast! They do an awesome job and always have great friendly service!
always a good place for breakfast or lunch (closes at 2pm) great staff, food is always good and fresh.
Wow. The best breakfast at a restaurant in a long time. I had the perfect breakfast special, two eggs bacon, hash browns, and toast. Almost no restaurants serve this as the special because it is what people want. Most restraunts not this one want to upsell and make you pay more for one of the items. The eggs were perfect as I ordered. The hash browns were also cooked perfectly. The Bacon was also perfectly cooked. This quality of food cooked they way you ordered as it should be could be $9.99 at almost any other restaurants. You have to pay the quality cooks. Here it was the special for $3.99 before 8 am.I have not even started on the service. Great service. Everyone of the servers and the cook all asked me if I need anything else or more coffee. Fresh ground Fresh made coffee. Wow. Just wow.If I lived close to this place I would be a regular. I don't but I will be back every morning I am in Tulsa Oklahoma.
I went to Port City for the second time today. My son ordered pancakes with his breakfast. On the menu above it said breakfast or something else too. My son told the waitress what he wanted and she said biscuits and gravy was not included in that. He questioned her about it. She stated she does not make the rules. Walks off and rolls her eyes at me. She came back and asked in a hateful way how do you want your eggs. We said never mind we are leaving. She said fine leave. I told her I did not appreciate her being rude to my son. I asked for the Manager and she proceeded to stand there while I was talking to him. I asked her to leave and she still stood there. The manager told her to leave. She was beyond rude for no reason. We were nice up until she came to our table the second time after being rude. I will not be going back to that restaurant. The manager offered us another waitress but we declined.
Saw the 4.5 stars and thought this place was great! But then when I went to order...I was met with entire disrespect by the waitress at the window. Still paid for my meal which wasn’t worth the hassle. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all thanks to the bad first experience.
Food was good everytime, service was great the first time we went but was lacking the 2 other times we ate there on our trip.
Thay where very personal and friendly and very good food
Very Good food, courteous staff, and Great down home atmosphere! If you leave here hungry....it's your own fault!! 😉
The food is great, it is piping hot & the service is very good, there omelets & biscuits are outstanding!!!
Reasonable prices, excellent service
The wait staff are awesome. I've never had a bad meal here. A bit cramped when it's breakfast, go a little after 9 to get the best seats.
The good is ALWAYS the bomb, always. My husband and myself enjoyed a casual Saturday morning breakfast. The food was great, service friendly. What more could one ask for?
Excellent service, had eggs, bacon, toast, and hash browns, with a large oj. Will def be back, easy access of 244, just across from flos burger diner too as that is one of my fave mom and pop shops as well for burgers. This place has great prices, a wide variety on the menu, and home cookin like you want. Wish I had taken photos like I typically do but it smelled great, and tasted even better.
Food tasted great, coffee was typical diner coffee with that particular taste that diners always have. Space was a bit tight, our waitress had problems getting to our table and seating was insanely limited. Overall was worth the trip, and I enjoyed what they had to offer.
While the service was good, the food and establishment were not. I do not know what they are making their scrambled eggs with but it is not a real egg. It had so much clear film in it that it looked like it had chunks of plastic. The place was horridly cramped and our drink cups had even a film on them from either age or improper washing, I do not know. We will not be returning.
Amazing food and reasonable prices. Must eat at place!!
Service was great. It stays busy and a bit hectic, but they always get back to you and make sure everything is going good!
I work by the port of Catoosa and while googling places to eat, I found this diner in close proximity. I’ve ordered for a veggie skillet with a side of biscuits and gravy. The food was made fresh and everything was served hot. I enjoyed my under 10$ meal for the day.
This was our first time at the diner and it wont be our last. It is a small cozy little place with great food and great service. While the hotels we stay in give free breakfast, they do not always leave you satisfied and fulfill what you are craving. When we are the Catoosa area we will definitely be back for breakfast. I almost got the steak for breakfast but thought, in a place like this it could be hit or miss and opted to not get it. Someone else ordered it and when the waitress walked by with it, I regretted not getting it. It looked really good. Next time there will be a steak on my plate to give it a try. I hope your experience is as good as our first one was.
Great food, good service
Excellent diner food made like mom used to make. The prices are super reasonable and the portions are generous. If you want a taste of old Americana off Route 66 this is a great stop. Sadly only open for breakfast and lunch.
What a local dive! Great breakfast. Kind staff. This is what a local eatery should be. Locally owned. Go support. I love local businesses and this one is a great community establishment that just might surprise you. I love it! Hope you will.
Stopped by for a late lunch this place fit the bill for a hardy meal to start the day. Service was very good and fast. All the wait staff was very friendly and always kepted the coffee and water glasses filled. Ordered the grits and gravy...was good but the grits were tasteless. Country Fried Steak and sausage patties were tasty, but needed salt. Over all highly recommend place to have breakfast or brunch.
Attentive friendly service, large portions, good food. I would go back when passing thru town. Across the highway from Hard Rock Casino.
Small little diner with homemade food. Breakfast and lunch were awesome!
This is one of those local places I love. The kind where the waitress name is flo, she's worked there 195389 years, the coffee is even greasy, and breakfast is served all day. Seriously though, it's country cooking comfort food, it's good, and it's inexpensive.
The order was wrong. Ordered chicken strips and got chicken fried steak, which is the same price. I almost ordered it in stead to start with so i just took that. I do mumble could be my fault. It was very good food. Waited was polite but clearly was anxious about trying to do good. And she was as good as anyone with that many customers could.
Great, friendly service. Food was just so-so: had breakfast steak & eggs. Ordered steak medium-rare - came out COLD. Sent back; came back medium well... and was pretty flavorlessAlso had biscuits & gravy - gravy did not have sausage in it (yankee-fied)
The Port City Diner is very small but has been in Catoosa for a lot of years. The service was good and the food was better than average. It certainly wasn't the best I have eaten but it certainly wasn't the worst. I would go back if everything else was closed but fast food. Otherwise I probably won't return. Their hours are breakfast and lunch till 3 p.m. and it's just an old fashioned very small Cafe with a pretty limited entree menu.
Decent price and big portions. Food was average.
I absolutely love this Diner 😍 🔥😋 I used to go every Sunday morning for my western omelet with hash brown and toast with biscuit and gravy for me and my daughter the whole 10 years I lived in the neighborhood, always very nice employee's and clean 👍🏾 I would recommend this place with no hesitation.
This place is very small and not much seating but it is really good food and affordable. Definitely coming back. Average $10 per plate with drink.
Went here on a whim last Saturday with my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised. Everything was great from the service to the food by far the best breakfast we've had in a very long time. The French toast was excellent, bacon was perfect biscuits and gravy was wonderful! My boyfriend got the chicken fried steak (hand breaded by the way )it was delicious! we are from the skiatook area and will definitely be returning!
Great food and fast, friendly service! Quaint old school diner with a comfortable atmosphere. I strongly recommend Port City Diner to anyone in the area.
Great food. Great service and fair price
Great food great service.
Love this place! Great service and food is always out very promptly. This should be Catoosa's breakfast hotspot.
